"Sidara" oversized shirt by Dabloom.
The Sidara is a headdress worn by urban populations in Iraq. It originated in 1921, during King Faisal I’s rule. He wanted to introduce headwear which represented social status and was worn by high-profile figures. It was also popularised by Iraqi singer Yusuf Omar’s song, “ياحلو يا بو سدارة”, which translates to “oh beautiful, the one with the Sidara”.
